This is seriously incredible! You have value and everything on point. If you don't already, you really should keep on painting!

Aw thanks Sol! Sadly, the last time I attempted something like that was a year ago with the yellow Andromeda pic. I rarely have the patience to paint :( I did do a few quickies maybe...8 months ago, I might upload them soon. I moved to photo manips because I can do them a lot quicker! I plan on trying some painting out soon though! XD At least I keep telling myself that.

One word. Amazing. I cannot get over this. Looks too real to be a piece of artwork.

Oh! The fur is so realistic, so beautiful but still lets the artist finish it fast - I guess. How much time did it take? What technique did you use?
I'm all ears! :)

Hello! I am sorry to say, I have a terrible memory, and this was about 4/5 done two weeks before I posted it, then life got in the way before I could work on it again. Basically I have no clue how long this took >.>.

As for Technique, I use only the soft brush in photoshop, around 75% opacity and between 2-15% flow. I don't work with line myself, so there is no line art. I work in light and shadow. I started from the center of the right eye and worked out. I work zoomed in about 200% for the first half and then zoom out after.

I work in strange ways. Thank you for your interest though! :D

This is delightfully soft with detail in just the right ways to remind me of something seen in a dream.

I use Photoshop CS5. I also enjoy using Painttool SAI. Just keep practicing and messing around with settings! You will get there!

The background is lovely. The depth of the face is a little distorted, but the eyes and nose are so realistic.

Yeah I added in the floating ball last, and the lighting I did after did distort the muzzle a bit. I must admit I was too lazy to fix it >.>
